Mark M. Longstreth,
Director of Field Operations
Mark grew up in construction. His father owned and operated a residential construction company in Little Rock, Arkansas. Mark’s grandfather served throughout his career as the head of maintenance and construction for a major manufacturing organization. In 1974, Mark began working as a carpenter for his father’s construction company. In addition, Mark was employed part-time by his grandfather’s company to assist with additions and renovation projects at varies plant facilities.
Mark majored in drafting at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock; and, went on to work for several Arkansas-based commercial and residential general
contractors. Most of his roles involved him serving a senior project superintendent. As a commercial senior project superintendent, he worked throughout Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas. His resume portfolio consists chiefly of multifamily projects, with contract values of +$15MM each.
Throughout Mark’s career, his core competencies have been crew management, OSHA compliance management, site safety, project scheduling, and project. Mark and his wife Teri relocated to the Austin, Texas area in 2007. In 2010, Mark and his wife launched L and E Construction Services. Building from Mark’s sense of fairness, ethics, and professionalism L and E has become well-known throughout the market for providing quality workmanship, superior service, and on-time reliability to its clients.
